Currently most of our training options are in-person and primarily for the local Kingaroy community which is located in the South Burnett region of South-East Queensland. However, other locations and online options can be discussed on request.
Please see all options below, and feel free to message us to discuss your needs, locations, training times and pricing.
We have a small weekly training group at our Kingaroy location where we run separate classes for men and women. We do occasionally hold mixed classes to provide more realistic training for those who consent to it.
Training is structured to cover several different topics usually run in 4-week blocks, one hour per week. Examples include public transport scenarios, setting effective boundaries, low light training, defending on the ground, weapon attacks, managing overseas vacations, situational awareness, confined spaces, coercive control, bullying and more.
Pay as you go, train when you want, no lock-in contracts, no pressure to commit.
Private training for individuals, family, friends or other small groups are available on request.
These are usually ad-hoc sessions held for 1 hour and based around your needs.
This type of training can also be used to prepare for attending group classes if people are nervous about what to expect, or they need a much slower environment to assist with their emotional wellbeing.
Approx. 2-3 hours training which will be specifically designed to fit your requirements.
These are designed to give you effective knowledge and skills in a short amount of time. They are designed with the consideration that the one course might be the only training you ever participate in to protect yourself and others.
This training is designed to cater for corporate organisations, healthcare providers, disability services, running clubs, schools, security workers, emergency services and more.
These can be made to your family home or workplace to help you learn what you can do to protect yourself and your possessions, within the state law.
You will learn and plan how to move around your house/workplace (or what to do if you have limited movement), how to exit safely, what improvised objects can you place and use to defend yourself, communication with family and emergency services, the emotional impact and aftermath, and general advice on other security measures.
Running you own martial arts club or self-defence group can be challenging, especially trying to find the balance between running a business, keeping people interested, and giving all of your clients what they need individually.
We can help review your club structure, your training methods, syllabus, future goals and safety practices both mentally and physically, to ensure you are providing the best service you can.
Note: We understand this can be a vulnerable experience for instructors and club owners. However, there will be complete discretion between us and your organisation.
Many of the training options mentioned on this page can be tailored to give you similar skills and knowledge online.
Please see the 'Online Consultancy' menu option for details.
